Topic: Sounding out writing commission for my interactive story.

I rather like the results of my interactive fiction story, Changing the World, but it isn't the most active IF out there. Not surprising, given the tendency towards the more unusual transformations. I offer higher points rewards than most stories on writing.com too. I write in spurts at best, myself. Sitting on a branch that needs just a little more to be finished too. So I'm thinking a writing commission might be the way to go. More content always has the possibility of turning into more contributors as well.

Thing is, I've never really commissioned writing, outside of a sadly unfinished character in Flexible Survival. So before I start down this path, I should figure out a good price.

My initial thoughts are around $3 for a decent length chapter. Modest paragraphs, around 6 per chapter. Any help figuring out if this, or what might be, fair would be appreciated. Getting plenty of fun new content for the money would be nice.

Commissions could very well be a good way to attract more writing, but I'm still perfectly fine writing for this story for free, even if inspiration is slow to come by. I say go for it. Three dollars sounds reasonable.

Transformation Fanatic.

That's  good to hear.  Thanks for the feedback, I was hoping for a little more help on figuring out what was reasonable, but it'll have to do, I suppose.

To Terranvoid:
I agreed that free writing was better too. Offered commission didn't mean it would absolute attract good work.
