Topic: site registration

Might be time to look at site registration.  Been seeing anywhere up to six or more bots in a given day that need to get fragged.   They just keep coming, and while I and others just keep deleting or banning them, more are shuffled in daily.

Seconded.  Nothing is more disappointing than opening a link expecting to see new content, only to find yet another advert for an online casino or sex enhancement pills.

Re: site registration

What I did for my old forum (F3) was, I had a captcha, but I also had a picture next to it telling people to input it in reverse order (so if it said abcde you had to put in edcba).

Kept out bots and people who can't be arsed to read the instructions.

This is new.  come in to find updates in every forum.

Looked at one.  saw spam. Banned user, deleted all posts.

No more updates in any forum.  we really need to push the bots out.
