With no surprise, I hereby declare Ekempo5000 the winner of the contest. 
Thanks to everyone who voted and everyone who contributed a story. It was a lot of fun to try something fresh with new characters and situations. I'm glad so many of you enjoyed it. I hope Demon-Man keeps contests like this going in the future. I would love to see what other stories everyone's working on.
