Jarilo is one of the newer avatars of Freya, and one of those who lives amongst normal people. In fact, he's the landlord of an apartment complex in Dragontooth, one of the districts of Grave-Town.

As a human, Jarilo was the second youngest of six children, and the only boy. His parents and sisters loved him dearly, however, and he grew into a kind-hearted, intelligent, and gentle young man. He also became quite beautiful, attracting the attention of many.

During college, he spent a few years in Freya's Realm as part of a study-abroad program. Originally, he'd intended to ask the demoness to make him a half-demon, as he knew his somewhat feminine appearance might get him the wrong kind of attention in the future. Yet Freya immediately sensed his kind heart, and instead offered to make him an avatar. Jarilo was initially taken aback, but ultimately accepted the offer, knowing it could help others.

Upon returning home to Grave-Town, he let his family know of his new status. Although they were shocked at first, they quickly accepted his transformation, and Jarilo vowed to help and protect them any way he could. He soon became renowned as a restorer of youth and healer of infirmities, as well as making the lives of TFs easier (while he can't restore TFs to their original bodies, he can do things like making it easier for them to move, or giving them eyes and/or grasping appendages).

One day, he learned of an apartment complex that was owned by a cruel couple who exploited and abused their tenants. Not only did they force their tenants for give them most of their salary, but the husband would sexually abuse the female tenants. The couple kept their tenants from fleeing or reporting them through intimidation and the occasional 'accidental death'. Jarilo immediately decided to take action, and surprised the couple in their penthouse apartment as they were dangling one of their tenants over a balcony. He turned the couple into tiny bat-human hybrids, and told the man they'd been threatening to let the others know that they were free now. Word quickly spread amongst the residents of the apartment, and they asked Jarilo to be their new landlord. After some consideration, the young avatar accepted. Today, Jarilo is much-loved by tenants, and loves and protects them in return. He is also caring for his orphaned nephew, Nyanku.

In his demon form, Jarilo retains most of his human appearance, including the male beauty that brought him so much attention. This form is basically that of a sleekly-muscled butterfly-winged satyr. Except for a pair of goat-like horns, his torso, arms, and head are human, with wavy blond hair that extends just past his shoulder blades. From the waist down, his body is covered in blond fur, concealing his genitals and covering his legs, which end in goat-like hooves. His beauty also seems to have been enhanced, as even straight men and lesbians who look at him will find themselves attracted to him. This effect isn't a strong one, however.

When it comes to transformations, Jarilo specializes in restoring youth and healing infirmities. He only does it for those who ask, though, and if they're good and honest people. Occasionally, he'll give more fantastic transformations on request. He rarely transforms bad people, and when he does, he only targets the 'repeat offenders', turning them into a hybrid of human and small animal and making them as unthreatening as possible in the process.
